Alternately you could download one of the compiled cumulative patches that either me or sam lynch 2 put together, and just copy it over to avoid the setup and compiling. Its IdolNinja, Jason. And if you're looking for a HUGE mod, go for the first one. If you want just a few basic mods, go for the second.

Don't let sam sell himself short. His compilation is another flavor of awesome. Mine has crazier game changing stuff in it like muzzle flashes, fireworks grenades, and overpowered guns, while his compilation is a more serious one that adds to the game without changing it significantly.
Try them both and see which one you like! :)

I seem to have a problem. After successfully extracting the patch.vpp_pc file and modifying its contents, I can't rebuild the file. I tried to direct the bat file to modding/extracted/patch folder, but it always crashes with the ever so famous "... has stopped working, Windows is checking for a solution" message :shock: . What am I doing wrong ?
EDIT: I figured it out. Turns out I didn't create a "modified" folder before running the batch file :oops: . Well, everything is fine now :D !

How do i make it again a vcc file? O_O i can't make it like that with Gibbed.SaintsRow2.BuildPackage... i press that and appears the CMD but it closes right away... and if i can only edit this .bat with notepad... O_O
1- what should i do to compress to it original state?
2- how do i edit this .bat file "Gibbed.SaintsRow2.BuildPackage"? O_O
