It sounds like you either have the contents of your .bat file wrong, or that you don't have everything extracted to the right place.

This is my .bat file

Gibbed.SaintsRow2.BuildPackage.exe "patch.vpp_pc" "modified" "extractedpatch"

I have the following directory structure:

e:sr2mod <- Tools like the build package and extractor and bat file go here

e:sr2modextractedcommon <- the extracted contents of the original common.vpp_pc go here

e:sr2modextractedpatch <- the extracted contents of the original patch.vpp_pc go here

e:sr2modified <- where you put any mods in before running build.bat

So, is your structure setup the same way? Can you add a second line to your .bat file:

pause

That pause will prevent the command prompt window from closing until you press a key so you can see what's going on (if anything.)

Happens to me sometimes. If you get 0 kb size, what I do is go back to the previous window and enter back and you should have that certain size. It probably didn't save properly, but it does register once you go back to the window (at least in my case).

Note: This is on a Windows XP computer. Not sure if its true on the other OS's.

Mine is a similar problem except no file is made at all.  I followed his advice but it still does nothing.
