Another feature in SR1. Shops are closed at night. It might be a long mod to make, but first is it possible.
Front doors access would be removed at night, same for lightcone.
Back door still accessible, but would start the alarm.
alternate idea was that alarm would start in a few, leaving you enough time to shop.. at 100% rebate... with the alarm starting cops would arrive and you might not be able to shop at all heart content... but sometime cops can be morons and would never enter the place..
Other solution or ideas could be nice.

I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the concept. I personally love having 24 hour shops. Seems like it would be an awful lot of work just to impose a restriction on the player...

Well in SR1 there is a robbery activity where you steal stuff after forcing the safe and then run with a box to the pawn shop... here I'd say breaking in for a 100% rebate on clothings or some other stuff can be worth it, for the heck of it too.

Oooh. That does sound cool. As long as you could still shop if you were successful that sounds like fun. :D

If we could make a robbery activity, I'd like this.

I remember this activity...yes, I do believe this would be phenomenal to bring it back. Might as well reinstate the safecracking diversion while you're at it.

That's easier said than done. We can only remove restriction (already available, but restrained car options or clothings) or modify what exist (adding a cloned vehicle or store with a new name.), we can't actually add new features as we don't have access to the source and some variables and constants are deeply embedded in the exe or files we can't extract or build. Also our LUA expert is IdolNinja... who doesn't quite qualify as expert (he says it himself). Some options in the files might be available but we can't see them. It might be possible, we found many hidden information related to SR1, which lead us to think they rewriten over the SR1 files for SR2.

Well, there was that one mission where you stuffed Jessica into the trunk of her car...perhaps using code from that may work out, time'll tell.

I don't remember any safecracking when you kidnap Jessica...
