Many new modders do wonder how to do an indexed search. Other new modders wonder what it means. Indexed search allows you to search for terms in XTBL, CTS and LUA files all together at the same time.
Under Windows 7: - Go to "Control Panel".
- Open "Index Option".
- Click "Advanced" button.
- Select "File Type" tab. Look for xtbl, lua and cts, make sure they are added and set each of them to "index property and file content". Head back to previous tab and click "Delete and rebuild index". This should take a while. Then you should be able to use Windows Search and see in which files a term occurs.
