I tried looking at the files on my SR2 PC disc, and I can't seem to find the EULA/TOS
Is there a link online?
I know there's a thriving modding community, but someone questioned the legality of me inspecting the game files and I just want to make sure that what I am doing is 100% legal.
If I own the game, am I allowed to extract the data files and learn things from them and share that information? (Such as the speeds of every car in the game, and their license plates)
All of that information, the the case of cars, is in a set of xtbl files - am I allowed to share these xtbl files with other people so they can see the data for themselves?
I know that mods are sharing modified xtbl files, and because mods are promoted here, it's obviously okay, but I just want to get some official confirmation.

Oh, it's in the manual, not as a file on the disc. But the Saints Row 1 manual doesn't any anything :/
3. You acknowledge that the software source code remains a confidential trade secret of thq.
You agree to not modify or reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
6. You shall not modify the software or merge the software into another computer program (except to the to operate within a computer operating system blah blah) or create derivative works based on the software.
These parts confuses me. Am I allowed to disassemble the vpp files or not?
I guess I'll wait wait for an answer from someone official, because I clearly don't understand.
