you got to do what you got to do. The only thing i didnt like about the MC was he didnt feel human to me but the carlos dieing part made me think deferent just a little.
...everyone have their soft spot, but that doesn't mean MC has to be all soft and romantic, just because gamers can't accept his inhuman behaviour...:|

I like the protaginist and can relate to him on many levels. As abraham lincoln said 'most men can stand adversity, to test a mans character give him power' and i must say id like to hang out with protag, he seems cool.

As far as the girl behind the bar I actually saw that as a very smart move. He grabbed her as leverage to pull himself out of harms way. Mean, yes, harsh, yes, but that's who you are. If you can't deal with that in a game then maybe you are just playing the wrong game. These are mean people that shoot cops and don't think twice about it. They deal in prostitution, drugs, illegal everything, and kill whoever they need to in order to make it to the top. What does one bartender mean in the middle of all that? Nothing. If it's you or her that has to take the bullets guess who it's going to be? These guys don't play around and I don't get why anyone would think he needs to be nice or likeable.

because theres always a limit. And theres personal preference.. Killing cops, pedestrians, gangs, and other people is expected, but we dont all relate to the psychopathic **** who cant stop putting one in peoples faces for the sake of enjoyment or personal satisfaction. Especially in the way its done in SR2... obviously, Volition tried to tone it down in SR3, but the MC just feels like a dumba*s..

Why does everyone complain about the character being "unlikable" or "greedy and selfish"? What's wrong with him?
