I have a similar problem, but I'm the high school drop-out but. I work just as hard or maybe even harder than the big fancy Uni educated office workers or the smart arses that finished high school (No offence) But I get $10 bucks an hour to drive wheel loaders and work other machinery. But someone who done two extra years of high school gets paid $15 an hour to stand around and look busy or sit in an air conditioned office and answere phones all day. :evil:

Get your GED if you want that extra 5$ an hour then..
I get paid 15$ an hour. What pisses me off is I finished highschool, and I don't have the luxury of setting in a loader all day....
I'm usually Ditch-bitch(pipe layer), Top-Man(handing pipe down to the Ditch-Bitch, and taking care of all the little odds and ends that The operators are to busy digging to do), or Flag-man(Standing all day holding the stop/go paddle)...
Personally I like being Top-Man the best cause it keeps me running, and makes the day go faster, But I would gladly take a pay cut To set in a machion all day..

It's not as easy as you think, the windows are constenly breaking, I'm responsible for the safty of the truck driver, my self and any body else in the area, and thats not all I do, I have to trim logs while there still on the back of the truck( With a Chainsaw standing on a ladder). I'm missing two of my left toes and the tip of my left pinki.(I'm not smart enough to finish high school)

Oh. You should look into getting on a Pipe crew. Their operator's have it easy... I'm not smart enough to finish high school

We allso have a track loader on the Job too. (Same thing but with Bulldozer Tracks instead of wheels)

I replied to this already but I must've lost it in preview world DUH!!! OK so That's a wheel loader cheers for the info... Here are my old work toys, I freelance occasionally but not much at all these days... Telehandler my last one in action...  Rear tip Dmp truck, don't drive these so much cos it's a no brainer and tedious (not me library pic)...  Anyway BOT My work related vent will be the fuckers that put a deposit of £250 on one of my pups the day after I advertised them 4 weeks ago has gone from ringing my phone off the hook every day last week trying to get me to let them pick up the pup and return to Glasgow on the train with it (2 1/2 hours) whih I denied them, no way too traumatic I said. Ya gotta pick the pup up in a car end of... Well basically they have gone off radar this week, and they are supposed to be picking up this weekend and settling the balance... FUCKIN BASTARDS, I'm gonna start upping the deposit to 50% from my next litter. I mean hey £250 for nothin is cool you'd say? Well the fact is that particular bitch I could have sold for more cash to 2 other people that have now gone elsewhere... /vent

that happend when I had my car for sale, some guy wanted to come by and see it, we set up a date and a time. I had to wake up early on my day off and wait for him to call but he never did, we never spook again. :evil:

It really fucks me off when people do that...
If I have someone coming here to view a pup at say 7pm we are on tenter hooks and cleaning around all day, making sure everything is presentable...
When they don't even call to cancel giving you freedom to fart and smoke in your own house for an hour or so (now you know they're not coming) it makes you want to scream...
