Well, the forum is slooooowly starting to get better, now if we could just remove that God Damn language filter! But V...........THANK YOU For answering two of my questions, one on the live Q&A, and the other on the Q&A#3, I'm very tempted to find all of your offices and give everyone there a bear hug, and I'm glad that I've pre-ordered platnium edition, and I've never regretted it, watching this game evolve since E3 2010, is about to pay off, God this is going to be the longest 6 days of my life.

Just seen a video showing hundreds of people waiting outside of game shops waiting for MW3. No offense to MW3 fans but that is just sad.
I know right they could have just played MW2 or any other game previously released and got it much cheaper.
Well I just know for a fact that people will have done the same for battlefield 3. I went to bed, had a nice sleep, woke up had my morning coffee, walked to the supermarket and there was battlefield 3 on the shelf limited edition as well.
By the time they got home with their copy of the game it would have been too late to play it anyway so probably went to bed. Hare and tortoise race.
I have to agree with you there old man...
I pre ordered MW3 and SR3 at the same time a couple of weeks ago...
Why on earth people want to queue up until midnight just to get a game on release is beyond me...
A few of my friends did just that and I had to laugh to myself when they told me that by the time the got home, they were too ****ed to play it so they went to bed...
My experience was similar to yours,
I woke up and carried on with my usual daily routine until 12 noon, settled down for a couple of matches on Black Ops until around 12:45 when my trusty post woman delivered my copy...
Switched discs and got stuck in, 12 hours and a good nights sleep after release...
BTW, Love your Avatar... That's 1 more of us and 1 less of them... (Avvy portraits)

People do it for pride... "Hey I played a game before you!" That is pretty much it.

Cheers J.C.M.J, I think it really shows off the versatility of the character creation of SR3 that I can make the closest likeness I'll ever see of myself in a game (dunno about skyrim yet). No matter what I tried in Fallout 3 or New Vegas, if I tried to make a character resemble anyone in particular, all said characters would look exactly the same. Only problem I have with the CC in SR3 is the laughter lines around the nose mouth area can be hard to hide.

GTA V claims got shotdown. The last part made me lol. "Some of the features in the list of rumored content for Grand Theft Auto V sounded a little too outlandish for current-gen systems. And some of those features just weren’t adding up, like driving 15 minutes to travel around the outskirts of the city, or that Los Santos was magically going to be four times bigger than Liberty City from GTA IV, presumably making the game range somewhere within the 20+ GB territory, which is well outside the limitations of the Xbox 360’s DVD9 capabilities. Nevertheless, it’s not entirely improbable that some of those fabricated features from the popularity-deficient forum poster might make it into the game. And I least have to give the pathetic noob props for having the guts to post some of that stuff up there, knowing full well that he’ll probably be hated for the rest of his life and will be hunted by trolls across the interwebz for the remainder of his days.
Now that poor kid will never be able to enjoy Grand Theft Auto without being haunted by the fact that his troll failed, he'll always be a virgin, and the only thing that came out of it was a bunch of hits for gaming websites that didn’t have anything else noteworthy to report over the weekend. This just goes to show you, kids…trolling doesn’t pay."

Whats funny is that the guy in the article says trolling doesnt pay yet he's doing exactly that by insulting the guy in his article lol, I wonder if he undertsands his own irony. I do agree with what the guys saying but he did go a little overboard.
