The forums flat lined due to many reasons over the past 6 months since SR:TT.
1. Fans of the previous titles are annoyed that Volition didn't listen to fans on certain aspects they would have liked from SR2.
2. The hype for the game has died down.
3. Instead of getting clear and concise answers on things such as DLC and what was actually in the game. We got alot of dragged out speculation.
4. Not enough moderators to deal with problem members on the site whether they are/were underaged or violating TOS of the site. Or Moderators created vendetta's against certain members who didn't actually do anything wrong.
Pretty much sums it all up.

It's because Saints Row 3 sucked and this new forum layout/theme is sooo bad that people (like myself) that used to post reguarly in 2008, 2009, and 2010, come here, we're like "oh **** i forgot about this lousy website update" and leave.

Yeah I would think the forums got pretty bad if they made all us old farts pack up our shit and leave without a moments notice. It got pretty lonley between SR2 and SR3 there was only the odd couple of us visiting the forums, but I still visited everyday. I think what pissed us off the most was the forum update that was pure sheite, people could no longer sign in and lost their password. then they fixed it, but it stayed just as bad as before and they showed no signes of fixing it, which they still havent. I think the forums will die out, there may be a new installment of Saints row to buzz about, but without good people to visit the site I think it will sink. I have yet to find any people that give a crap about the community and the family. I havent seen and Jus Call me J's, Ayngels, Fatel Embraces, Og Lukes, ect.... I just stop by to see what a disaster this place turned out to be.

The forums been dead for quite awhile now x_x most of us that stayed loyal were outspoken and picked over by the whiney teenager masses wanting farts, silly costumes and obscenitys that made SR3 a laughing stock.
I don't get what was so hard about listening to your real fans, nobody asked for Johnny Gat to die or for a years worth of content to be cut from the game only to be sold later as DLC. also thanks to you every freaking game now has it's own season pass. Why did you do it V and do you feel it was the right decision now?
Hopefully you'll be given another chance to correct your many dumb mistakes and bring back the features that made the first two games a force to be reckon with otherwise it's the curtains for SaintsRow.
See that huge hole in the ground, that's my expectation for Saints Row4.

Well looks like R* GTA V is the only alternative infact I was so pissed off with SR:TT I bought the GTA IV Complete Edition and guess what it had everything on there *surpise suprise*
Now I know this might be hard for V to believe but it had all the GTA IV DLC on there on one disc and guess what it wasn't half assed or over priced.
GTA IV had its fair amount of flaws as I have mentioned it here many times such as the driving and lack of diversions but the online and city were done right.
And its not as bad as I remember sure that game had its flaws but tbh with you it really hit home how bad SR:TT was and how much better 2 was.

The reason for me to barely ever come to this forum is... well... it sucks. Seriously I look at this forum like it's a manhole. At most threads I've seen here, which aren't much anyways, were lots of negative comments, and they all point to two things: Saints Row: The Third, or the devs, or just both. I'm actually pretty glad with Saints Row 3, even though it's smaller than Saints Row 2. At least they have the physics, tweaks and such done right, and that counts for me. If the people here hate the game, then make just one complaint topic instead of spreading their bitching over almost all topics. And if you don't like The Third, go back and play Saints Row 2. You can get it for a cheap price at Steam if you don't even have the game. Sayonara.
