Hi. I was wondering what news there is of Saints Row 4.
I have to admit I was somewhat dissapointed in SR3 and I am really hoping SR4 bounces back.
So for this thread let me know what news there is of Saints Row 4 and also what changes and additions you would like to see.
Some things I would like to see:
GENERAL GAMEPLAY ADDITIONS:
- bring back blunts and booze....that was such a fun touch and I can't figure why they got rid of it
- more explorable buildings
- more random action within the game that our character doesn't cause so we can just kick back and watch (street fights, cop shootings, etc.)
-allow us to choose our verbal responses in certain situations
- more alternate endings. I like thinking that my choices throughout the game effect the ending; not just my choice at the last mission
MORE CHARACTER CUSTOMIZATION:
- more tattoo choices (and/or all tattoos from previous Saints Row games) and also the option to move and resize tats
- allow us to choose our character's fighting style and walking style (another option removed and I don't know why)
- more voice options
- more short hairstyle options (similar to the sarge) and sideburns that actually connect the head hair
CAR CUSTOMIZATION:
-BRING BACK WIRE WHEELS!!!!!
So those are a few things I would love to see. Feel free to share what you would like for Saints Row 4 to have. =]
To the developers: PLEASE READ THIS AND CONSIDER....

I strtongly agree with what you are saying, saints row the third wasn't as good as i thought iwas going to be, i expected lots a option and customisation in all areas. They should of kept the old and just build it up so it's less work than just making a completely differant. i would love if they made the graffics even more realistic, i know thc ain't working to realism but just graffics would be nice. One last thing that i would like is a choice where you any celeb you want. If THC sees this please read, this is not just me who wants these things but thousand and maybe even millions. Thank you.

Others who want realism it is a waste in gaming, if you want real go outside, saints row is a work of art. Want real go play POS, *ahem*, GTTA the game that tanked rockstar as its own company for leaving their roots from Vice city and San Andreas and going serious. Then again people who escape the real world to play a video game and want more realism would jsut end up hating the video game instead of the creative artistic style taht brings steelport to life. Love to get some more customization for our rides so when we are rolling in the row people can see us coming. Blunts and booze are all part of the hardcore world of being a g money street hood4life which is what beinga Saint is all about, also more Genki!!!!!!!!!

nah nah nah, i didn't mean i wanted it to be a bit more realistic but the new THQ manager has said that its going to be just a bit less "embarressing", what i meant is just for them to improve on the graffics, that's all, i still want over the top madness but i just don't want them all deldo mad or something like that. i love them to have all the old things soo much and 4 way co op so it will be a gang of friends and not just one friend, that would so cool, i can imagine it now, me and my friend going mad, doing mission annd talking like pro's saying, "WATCH MY BACK, OOOHHHH OHHHHHHHH". that would be really fun

SR3 had a unique art style, not quite Borderlands and not quite GTA. Somewhere in the middle, and for long time fans and bringing in new players it was a good combination of both, have not seen it done the same way in any other game. Hmmmm, I liked the graphics in SR3 well maybe soon I will since I can finally really play it since the new computer for it is coming today. What kind of graphics are you leaning towards more like GTA? More like Borderlands? Or just better in general? Because the way it is now it nukes my 2 6990's in Crossfire so those are going bye-bye.

i would say both but more in the line of gta 5 graphic but not too much because i know gta fans wil flip out in anger, i wan't a type of graphic which will blow my mind and makes me say wow that's so real but also something that still tells me its a mad game

Maybe you would do better with the gta5 then? Though that game like 4 will most likely be boring it seems from people are saying. I like the slight cartoon look, and can see others like the realism look. The saints being a more fictional approach I like the fantasy style look they use, there doesnt seem to be a technical term for it. Also for me I like that it is an escape, well for me from the real world to the world of the saints so the style sets it apart for me. To me the graphics in SR3 are pretty mind blowing even now, tech changes im sure they will do something, volition never let me down yet.

One thing I would like to see in SR4 involves the radio stations, Lol I loved the music they used for the game, but I hated it when You couldn't repeat a song even when you made a playlist. So what I would like to see is something like calling the radio station and asking for a song of your choosing to be played. I think it would be a fun new mechanic added into the game.

that's a awesome idea, i just wanted to add something with that which is to have more music that people know. ( no justin bieber though, he sucks) i would love listening some lil wayne while driving some over the car the i hope they make
