Alot of people on here seem pretty disappointed with IS, and since i read the forums before playing, i downloaded it and went in with a glass half empty approach. When i first played it i was a little disappointed with the hair, the voices, and the lack of layering. but as i played it more i was content with it, i made my character look like a gorgeous video vixen like in SR2 lol. People trust there will be more in the final game and hey, would you want good graphics or layering, honestly i think voilition did all they could on the xbox 360 platform, Yes there are some things that were disappointing (voices) but honestly i think the creators did all that they could, adn btw (40 weeks of DLC)

Its good that you like it. but that doesn't make it good enough for the rest of us. We dont want to buy pre built suits with real money, we want to create our own. If you're fine with a watered down system thats fine, but it wont convince anyone else. it is that bad.

johnny Gat interview: Q:How many people would you say you’ve killed? A: Around 13,000 I think… give or take a couple hundred.
Q:You aren’t sure of the number? A:We can make it 13,001 if you keep this up. *johnny gat smiles*

I just spent 3 hours in it.. yes the char itself is pretty powerful.. but the clothing is abysmal.. far worse than SR1 or 2... and this is 80 freaking % that sure as hell does not leave alot of hope for the final product.. the female clothing expecially is horrible.. nothing even close to that sample there on the right... used to be able to wear jackets over items and make totally differetn looks .. now you are locked in with whomever the prude is that is doing the art.. and yes there are racier outfits in EA's The Sims.. this is horrible.

I liked it, some people are just ungreatful, I mean how many sandbox games, or any kind of game besides saints row even give you the option to create a character? So what you dont get to pick the shirt under your jacket, your belt, or socks. Honestly I could give a **** about belts and socks. I think its awesome that I can create my character before I get the game, because honestly the last thing I want to do when I get a new game is spend my first 20 minutes creating a character, yeah its fun, but the first thing I want to do in a game certainly isn't wasting time with a character.

You might not like doing that but other people do if you're happy that's great but what you're saying now is pointless. We don't have to be grateful the game thrives on its character creation hell look at this damn ad http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPBWM25bsLo yet it sucks it used to be the best character creator but now the sims and WWE 12's is better.

Did you ever consider that the 20% that isn't included in the IS is in that ad? I'm sure the clothing featured in the ad is included in the full game, theres only about eight clothing options in that video not included in the IS. Eight additional clothing options isn't even close to making up another 20%. In WWE you can only create wrestlers, and the Sims has a sh** selection of clothes unless you buy and download more clothes, you can create almost anything you can think of on SR:TT, and people still aren't satisfied because "I cant pick the shirt under my jacket", "I want to pick my own belt" and "I wan't to pick my own socks".

It's not just about socks and shirts its a combination. With layers we were able to create our own unique set of clothes, we made our own superhero clothes using different layering options, long socks could be used as tight boots and belts as well superhero belts and mixing and matching now we are forced with the pre rendered costumes they give us. If what is shown in IS is 80% then 20% is more than likely everything they showed in that ad because IS didn't have alot to choose from at all.

The Initiation Station isn't bad in comparison to other games no, but compared to Saints Row 2 I still feel it's downgraded in the clothing department. I mean I couldn't even attempt to recreate my SR2 character without it coming off reall half assed. I swear from this day forward Volition doesn't add the stuff back in, in the next game I'll be raging especially after all the hate of it being removed.
