Hey-o just looking for some words of wisdom from my fellow addicts.
I've been thinking, almost daily, about getting another PS3 for some local co-op.. but with Sony releasing a new playstation every six years we are pretty much due for another playstation in 2012, I'll say 2013 at the latest... I've googled this, and as you all know the internet is pure truth.
My other option is to buy another PC for local co-op.. which makes the price tag jump from say $300 to at least $1000... but at least I don't have to worry about new titles not coming out for my PC in the forseeable future.
Any of you play Saints Row 2 local co-op? Any of you planning on playing Saints Row The Third local co-op? What's your experience been like compared to on-line?
Hmm.. well I guess I am more or less thinking out loud but I would like to hear what you have to say. If I factor in I could get a PS3 almost free by trading in the games I don't play anymore it looks pretty appealing.. 2 ps3's 2 controllers, 2 copies of saints row the third, and nothing else lol.
Oh and for me the 2nd TV would be the computer monitor, which is only 22".. for now.

I played Saints Row 2 Co-op for hours with a mate. It was epic fun, half the time we did missions and the other half was spent just rampaging around the city be it killing each other or killing random civs/cops. If I had enough money to throw around I'd definently buy a second xbox for sys link however I dont :( If only they allowed cross console co-op.

ps4 won't come untill 2016......so you buy a ps3 and then sell it when ps4 comes out
johnny Gat interview: Q:How many people would you say you’ve killed? A: Around 13,000 I think… give or take a couple hundred.
Q:You aren’t sure of the number? A:We can make it 13,001 if you keep this up. *johnny gat smiles*
