Co-op, Cheats, and Autosaves

I couldn't find this answered in the FAQ thread, so I'll ask here: In SR2, cheating would lock out a player's ability to autosave, and having someone join one's game with cheats inabled would likewise lock out one's autosave through no falt of the player. In other words, one could not let random people join their game for fear that it would screw up their game. Is this still an issue in SR III? (Penaltys for cheating, penaltys for co-op parters cheating, inability to filter out cheaters from joining one's co-op game, etc?)

It was a question, not an idea. As far as IDEAS go, a proper penalty for a game bragging about having over 100 cheat codes is to tag the missions rather than the save. If a player wants to earn an achevement tied to a mission, said player would have to replay it without cheats to get it to unlock. Same thing with weapons. Sure, you could cheat to get a rocket launcher, but it won't add to your kill count until you actually snag a REAL one.

*Sigh* So many what ifs anf if onlys. Maybe for SR4...

Apparently I was not clear. MY problem was having a cheater join my game and having MY game flagged as cheated. (Astric Mark, no autosave, etc.)

In short, I was being penalized for letting random people join my game, since most people who join random games apparently use cheats. It has made my goal of creating an "All Activities, No Missions" save a bit of a solo affair.
