When the initiation station came out I quickly nabbed it and made an account through it and uploaded a few characters. I decided I wanted to check them out and tried to log into this website. It said my username or password was invalid so I tried logging in through the Initiation Station. It worked. So I tried logging into the website again. Same thing. I scoped out the forums and noticed a few more people having this problem.

Here is my guess:
   When you go to make an account on this website you are only allowed a certain number of characters in your username. I tried to enter my username that I had chosen through the Initiation Station on steam when creating a new account through the website. It turns out my username that I created through the IS is one character longer than it is able to be if you made it on this website. I'm thinking that's what the problem is. So for all those people having their login information work on steam but not on the Saints Row website, try counting how many 'characters' you have in your username.

I made this account to make this post so I really hope there is a way to "un-link" a steam account from an account that I can't log into on this website. Hope it gets fixed before the game comes out!!!

Please let me know if there is a solution and if you think I've found why some login names don't work on the website but do in Steam.
