While i do agree that you should have gang members following you with cars and bikes (if you call them), i must also say that rockstar failed with gta 4. If rockstar can't improve their own game what gives you the right to say something like that?
And while SR3 doesn't give you that, it gives you the possibility to call backup (something gta sa fans had to create mods to obtain), it gives you airstrike (something gta sa fans had to create mods to obtain and failed).. It gives you the possibility to have gang members around all map (something gta sa fans had to create mods to obtain).. It gives you the possibility to buy properties and while in gta vice city you had several awesome businesses, in gta san andreas the best business you have is a casino that don't even gives you money. Do you want me to continue?
And what is that talk about the 2004 game? Only idiots still belive newer games HAVE to be better. Graphics are way better, but graphics don't mean ****.. Ask the Mafia fans... 90% say that Mafia 1 is better than Mafia 2, just because the story is better.
While san andreas was realised in 2004, rockstar should have way more experience in creating sandbox games and yet in gta 4 you can't even drive a plane.
Honestly i do like san andreas more than any other Saints Row game, but only because of the map and the story. But besides san andreas, saints row is superior to any other gta game. If you had a map like that in saints row, it would be perfect.
