Seriously Violation wtf
Johnny Gat dies 15 minutes into the game, Not cool!
Happy hippy stonner Shaundi is replaced with this angry PMSing TV star wannabe, and as if that wasnt bad enough just as you start getting used to her you go and blow her up along with Viola and Burt!
Despite the fact that no one seems to give a **** about Pierce (apparently) he's the only character that hasn't undergone a drastic change or been potentially killed off, in fact it looks like he's going to be bloody Mayor, I'm not hating on Pierce but why is he getting all the love and Johnny gets a pathetic off screen death and Shaundi gets blown to bits?
We get new saints that are just annoying/lame like Zimos and Angel, (apologies to anyone who liked these characters) Kinzie and Oleg are kinda cool but i would gladly trade them all in to get Johnny back, even Viola who I actually liked.
Come on Violation help out your loyal fans, surely it wouldn't be too difficult to add a mission and cutscene replay feature to the game like the first two game's in a update or somthing, there's lots of fun missions that people would like to play again without having to start from scratch, also being able to toggle your upgrades on and off would be really nice.
As for the Johnny situation, why kill off the best character in the franchize and why give him a lame off screen death that pisses off nearly every Johnny Gat fan out there, if you felt that it was absolutely necessary to kill off the most loved character for whatever insane reason then he should have gone out in some epic blaze of glory, at least half way through the game Gears of War3 style and not some pathetic gunshots over the radio 15 minutes into the game, and to top it all everywhere you go there's Johnny Gat Posters/bobbleheads/Gat mobiles/and mascots walking around constantly reminding you that he's gone, its like some cruel joke.
Make things right Violation and listen to the fans, bring back Johnny Gat in some epic DLC with an explanation as to what happened to him after the plane, or you could just ignore the pleas of so many fans in which case my love and the love of many others of Saints Row dies with Gat, any Saints Row game without Johnny Gat just aint a Saints Row game.
BRING BACK JOHNNY GAT!
I honestly didn't even know for sure if he was dead or not until three quarters into the story because his death was off screen and there was no body! I was hoping he would show up in the end or something to help out the Saints and everyone would be like, "Johnny! You're alive!"

Yea they seriously freaked up the game for me... It was a funny game..but they made WAY too many mistakes! First off you kill off the most LOVED character..and then unless you pick to save shaundi..you kill her too..who's left? I honestly LOVE Peirce but Gat is my favorite..Pierce did try to make the game funny..and Shaundi is too much of a uptight B to add any comedy... Gat was funny and cool as hell....I agree with the person that commented it was to get people talking..but i think it killed them more than helped them...people are pissed....and then on top of that all the customizable strong holds look the EXACT SAME...how lazy!!! and some of the cool hairstlyes and looks the gangs have you cant have your own person wearing the look..WHY? at least give them the crappy ones and us the cool ones!! Peirce better not die in 4! STOP REPLACING ALL THE MAIN GANG MEMBERS!! ITS JUST WACK!! And on top of that they charge you for co-op!!!! huh? I paid that money too..only to find out no one really plays it anymore!! what kind of crap is that??? Yal are killing your SR3 franchise seriously......GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!

I have learned not to get too entangled in stories in so many games out there, especially like this title. I learned not to get my emotion on there and really get immersed by the story because i know i will get saddened by characters dying (example Gat and Shaundi) and then get all cynical about the next game in the series cos it probably has characters that arent as cool as the original characters, which will make me miss the ones that died even more. so next game, i am just gonna run and gun and not care about the story. But in my honest opinion this game was AWESOME.. and i cannot wait till sr4 comes out, just this time, i am gonne be an emotionless badass gangsta...

If they killed off Gatt this way just so they can show the death in a DLC than that is BS. I hope he does come back, but I wll not be buying any of the DLC.

I'm sorry but for god's sake it's *Volition. Also making a DLC which brings back a DEAD character wouldn't work at all, but it would of been better for him to stay.
Sons of samedi DLC, The remaining samedi use voodoo or some **** to bring back the general, You kill them, Then they bring back gat at the threat of killing the general and all the remaining samedi, Johnny is back everyone is happy, Just a suggestion though, Also you get johnny gat as a homie and not zombie gat.

Last I checked, Gat and Shaundi are the ones getting all the love while Pierce is getting all the hate on these sites. But yea I agree, the story is **** and short.

Blowing up Shaundi,Viola,and Burt was your own fault. You could of saved them by: 1.Killing Killbane first (which gives you the abillity to replay the mission,even if you blew them up first) 2.Replay the mission and save Shaundi.

The game sucked without Gat. i used to do everything with that dude. its not just that, i feel like 47 missions would be enough, but its the fact that half of them are 20 sec. long and are introducing you to activities, not acctual missions. and i miss the old multiplayer in sr2 i thought they were kinda cool and in sr3 they could have really inproved on them to make them awsome. the play style is ok but the way the missions were kinda sucked to i like working of one gang at a time and taking over the hoods like that. and not enought options for the clothing either. some stuff was cool but most of it was crap. saints row 4 better make up for all of this. cuz this is bullshit
