Is there a way to search community creations...

Hey Saints fans,

Have been having a blast with SR3 and recently managed to successfully link my psn account to my SR account.

I have seen many great uploads from various fans and am interested in downloading a few. Just have a quick question - is it possible to do a search for characters? I have noticed some uploads have tags associated with them - is there a way we can do a search via the community gallery?

Currently I have been going 'Community' -> 'Community Gallery' and then searching page by page to find characters - to me this seems a bit cumbersome but if that's how everyone has been doing it then that's cool (good way to view a lot of characters!).

I just haven't seen a search function anywhere and was wondering if there was a quick and easy way to search the thousands of character creations?

P.S Sorry if this is posted in the wrong thread or has been answered already, have searched for some time but haven't had any luck Yell

Keep up the awesome work Volition & fellow sainters!

They actually did have that, I used it just a few days ago. But all of a sudden it disappeared about a day or two after I used it. So I'm not sure what their doing with that.

I can't find a search function either.

Come on THQ/Volition. This is basic design for a community gallery.

yeah what happened to this? the current setup for browsing characters is slow and tedious, the tag search made it better.

workaround for tag search: upload any character. insert tags for the character you uploaded in its tag description box. use tags you want to search for, not tags that necessarily describe your uploaded character. save it, then load that character profile. then click the tags that you saved on that character and you can use them to search tags. its time consuming but since this website is broken, it'll have to work for now.

Just do a tag search. It'll only work well for one tag at a time though, because it doesn't take into consideration the order of words. For some reason search terms are also case sensitive, so you'll have to do 2 or more searches with the first letter of the name in uppercase, then lowercase if you want to get the most results.

I've also just made this search tool, which'll search through tags. You have to click the search button to search though, enter won't work.

Alternatively, www.saintsrow.com/community/characters/tag/search term will work too, replacing the bolded part.
