I think this whole thing with Johnny was an test done by the game developers to mess with the fans. The entirely of SR3 was suppose to be bigger and bolder, like a sucker punch to the gut. At 8:49 while Loren is talking, there a person who looks like Johnny slumped against the table, with his arms beside him as if his hands are tied. If Johnny is dead, why tie his hands? And even if you think his hands aren't tied, it still doesn't mean he's dead, he could be out cold.

Ok so i was thinking about all this earlier today, and i realized something. what if Volition is working on/ keeping aside a big mission pack bringing gat back, to release at the end of their 40 weeks of dlc?

it KIND OF explains why all these packs are so small, and would be a BRILLIANT way to bring Gat back. as stated before, i think Volition is just trolling us, they wanted a rise out of us and they got it!

that would be nice to see happen but i don't think it will. i just hope that the power of the saint's row fans that REJECTED JOHNNY GATS DEATH make volition rethink the mistake they have made i'm sure volition can make a great story to bring GAT back in some way. killing GAT off could cost volition deeply Sales of SR4 could be very bad.

thats EXACTLY my point. if they bring gat back in such a way that i stated above (or similar ways) they could be getting a lot of money from SR4 or even from SR:TT itself.

yeah they did the first time i did the mission im  free-falling i wondered why gat got shot becuz he is strong he got stabbed by Junychi and got staband he got stabbed by big tony and then got stabbd by loren so i was like what the gobbles man?!?!

Here's my idea of what happened. This is based off the Save Shaundi ending.

After we hear the gunshots it goes to a screen of Johnny. He turns around and shoots up the Syndicate guards who where shooting at him. As he leaves the cockpit somebody was hiding behind him against the wall. They come up behind him and knock him out. We are given the full scene of Loren talking to Killbane and Matt only through Johnny's eyes. He is blacking in and out of consciousness before finally going out again. After Loren is done talking to Killbane and Matt he asks the twins to leave because he is calling his employer. He rings somebody else up. This person turns out to be Dex who has taken control of Ultor after Eric Gryphon's unfortunate death. (Staged assassination. The saints have no idea any of this has happened. yet ;)    ) Loren tells Dex he has a old friend of his and the camera shows Johnny. (I thinks it's been proven he is in the room. If you watch the cut scene you can see him against the desk.) Dex tells him good and that he wants him right away. Loren agrees asking what Dex will plan to do with him.

They get in to a conversation about the cloning program they have. They are going to try and clone a Johnny army to fight the Saints. (Personally I wouldn't want to fight that army O.o one Johnny is enough an army though...) After some more discussion Loren agrees to have Johnny sent to the city where Dex is located to be cloned.

Now we go through Saints Row: The Third normally until the end of the game. This time since Loren is dead we see a conversation between Dex and Killbane. (Since Killbane is the last surviving Syndicate member) Dex tells Killbane they have the first clone ready but it didn't turn out the way they wanted. We see a picture of the clone and it looks exactly like Zombie Gat. Dex explains to Killbane that this clone wasn't normal. His eyes had been replaced with camera's and audio receivers. (Queue the glowing blue eyes of Zombie Gat.) Dex then tells Killbane that he plans to send the Zombie/cloned Gat to the Saints to spy on them until the time was right to strike out at them. (It's never said how long it is after the end of the game before Zombie Gat appears. We assume it's right after but you never know.) Killbane asks him how can we strike out we barely have any forces. Dex steps over and we see Cyrus who then tells Killbane he wants to get rid of the Saints just as much as Dex and he does. The three agree and have joined up with each other in the new city to fight the Saints. Killbane has his Luchadores, Dex the Masako, and Cyrus has STAG.

The Saints have left Ultor after taking out the Syndicate because it was causing to many problems for them. The main reason though was to honor Johnny's wish about how soft they had become. (Mostly getting this from when he is talking in the jail cell. They still don't know about Dex taking over Ultor.) They are just chilling in Steelport when suddenly the cloned Johnny comes after them. (Trouble With Clones DLC) After a few missions of taking out zombies we end up killing the original Zombie/Cloned Gat. Kinzie notices his eyes are different and finds out they're camera's. She tries to hack them to find where the recordings are going to. All she gets out of it is Dex. The boss becomes angry when he hears Dex's name and wonders why Johnny's body has camera's. Kinzie says she doesn't know. They still have to have a proper funeral for him so they go ahead with that.

They are in Stilwater now at Johnny's funeral when STAG N-Forcers, Luchadore Criminals, and Masako Bears come in guns blazing. All the vehicles have the Ultor symbol on them. After the gunfight one of the attackers is still alive and tries to run. The boss shoots him but doesn't kill him. The boss then questions him about who he is and all that. The guard says he is with Dex and they had been sent to exterminate the Saints at the funeral. The boss shoots him after making some type of remark and is extremely angry that Dex has taken over Ultor and is coming after him and the Saints. Not only that but that Killbane and Cyrus had joined up with him. They all return to the hideout but strangely Viola is missing. They figure she will pop up sooner or later at the hideout. (Purgatory if your wondering which has now been turned in to a skyscraper.) (All the saints are in the penthouse looking for Viola. They can't find her so they wait a day by crashing there. Next day nobody knew where she was.)

The boss was going to make plans to go find her but the three (Killbane, Cyrus and Dex) had acted first. Dex is on the tv along with Killbane and Cyrus. He is telling the Saints that they are finished and he will ruin them on a news broadcast. After discussing this for a bit he points behind him. We see Viola, Matt, and Johnny all in a line tied up to some chairs. Dex asks for each of them to introduce themselves. They do. Johnny makes some wise crack towards Dex. Killbane comes over punches him in the gut to shut him up. He makes another comment and Dex asks Killbane to drag him out of the room. He does that. 

Dex talks some more telling Viola to give Matt the Saints bank account numbers. (Since she has a masters in economics she handles all the Saints money.) (The saints had there numbers security locked big time after Matt hacked them the last time.) She disagrees at first but Dex slaps her and has a guard point a gun at her head. She starts telling Matt the numbers and he types them in to his computer. (he is at gunpoint as well and scared out of his mind.) Once the numbers pop up on the screen everybody starts stealing the saints money. The boss tries to stop it but Matt has locked all the saints out. Once it is depleted Dex has them dragged off to the jail cells in case he needs them later. He then asks that Cyrus take the stand. Cyrus does and asks that the screen be changed. We now see a sniper scope which is pointed at the boss's shoulder which is the only part showing. Cyrus gives the order to fire. The boss tries to dodge the bullet but it ends up hitting his/her shoulder. (Cyrus is heard saying the building is surrounded.) The boss then tells the other saints to get out of there and he/she will cover them.

They do just that. Well some of Dex's army (what I'm calling the Masako and all of those people working with Dex.) bust in to the penthouse and a fire fight between the boss and them starts. After the firefight a bunch of VTOL's appear and blast the penthouse floor with missiles. The boss is flung around still alive but to dazed to get up. The roof crumbles on him/her and the screen blacks out. 

This is where Saints Row 4 starts out. Your in the character customization screen then you wake up in a hospital. It's only been a few days. Your saints came back and rescued you.

This my friends is how I believe Saints Row 4 will start out and what the fate of Johnny Gat is. 4 will have you saving him and taking out your last enemies in the new final city :) I know it was a bit long but hey I had to make sure everything was right or else it wouldn't of made sense. If it still doesn't then let me know and I'll explain.
