Cool, HopeuGuessMyName AKA Stones fan! Cool

By the way, seriously, erico, will you PLEASE stop trolling this thread. Everyone has an opinion, and you "inviting people to leave" because they are posting an opinion you disagree with is just childish and immature. There is no need for that. We are ALL customers, all paid for the game out of our own pockets, and all have a right to voice our opinions. Yours are no more or less valuable than anyone else's.

On a serious note, I think the zombie thing for read dead redemption went for $10 and they say it only lasts 6 hours or so.
If there's no story whatsoever I'd still buy it just for the new features. As much as I already play srtt I can see that disk getting plenty of miles on it. A whole new set of sandbox rules and toys? Yeah, that's well worth $30 to me.
BUT if it does have a story, if it is really this epic, and if it fixes some of our major complaints, it has the potential to be better than the game we've already paid $60 for, which is what I'm hoping for.

The fact of the matter is that I think we need more information...a lot more, before any of us can make a truly informed decision, and the extremists on both sides may be missing this obvious point.

I suppose so. Perhaps itll seem more justifiable when we learn more about it. Time will tell.

Lol pleased to meet you;)

But @ deathfactor... I believe you man. I'm honestly too tired and I wasted my whole batch of clever on that Grinch comment.
I can't debate.... too weak....

I never liked Gta and I don't even know what came with their expansion. I read it was a couple of mission strands and a helicopter. Maybe I should look into it.

I loved red dead but I like cars. Didn't keep the game long enough to buy the zombie thing. It might be great.

For me personally, the sandbox is all I want. I would pay $30 if half what they promise is reality. I always hoped for a "city of heroes" type game on consoles and since I play Xbox I even missed out on the DC game.
This is my dream, I can't cut anyone else just because they don't share it. In fact, those people wanting a more gangster and realistic return to saints row are probably seriously mourning this decision. I do feel sympathy for them but I'm gonna be happy regardless.

That was my only point. Again, the only thing that worries me is the history of SR3 DLC to date. It has not exactly been what most of us would call "high on value" to this point in time. So it does, at the very least, give one pause.

Surely it will be available as a download aswell. Or did he mean because it's being released as a stand alone project than the DLC from SRTT won't overlap.

@goldhawk I guess we'll see but if you read back I believe to page 2 of this thread DC said it himself. I'm sure he'll be around to clear this up soon. If nothing else its like fitnessguru said, still very early to know much of anything.
