Have you ever heard of Steam's workshop? Heres a link to what it pretty much is http://www.teamfortress.com/workshop/

Now what if saints row had this? I've seen what some you comunity people had made and I must say it really good work. Now what if volition would add it into the game and they would pay you half for it every time a person would buy it! Also if console players could get these add-ons, the money would be rolling in and volition would make some good cash! Just think about it! New weapon skins, new clothes, new vechicles, and more! All made by the comunity and they would be paid for it! Okay you PC players are probably not buying this but console players are going to eat this up! How many of you console players would pay for this?

I would buy it but I'd need more content. Some actual changes to the shape of the weapons would be good. I really like the skins though.

Unfortunately, looking back at all the other dlc I bet you got yourself a $2.99 pack by their standards. New colors! They'd make a video and have someone dancing and shooting flames and lightening and when you get it all you can feel is underwhelmed...

I have plenty of taste. I just have no desire to pay for **** I can get for free with the PC version on top of all the DLC that is and will be available for the game, especially since the majority of it is already on the disk.

If they were free on consoles then I might take interest, but there's no chance in hell I'd ever pay for them.

also I scoff at the idea of players actually geting paid for modding things. That's just stupid.

I dont see how that's stupid. We've basically think tanked the coming expansion right here in the forums and won't get anything in return except to play it. Someone who actually goes through the trouble of programming a new feature should be recognised and compensated if that's what they want. Most modders just do it for the love of the game but I bet we'd see a lot more quality mods available if there was an incentive program. Its no different than the Xbox live Indie game feature. Anyone can submit. Or the self-publishing feature in amazon. The only difference is instead of making your own original product, you're creating valuable extra content for an existing product. If you could get paid for your "brute suit" idea wouldn't you want to?

The Elderscrolls only have the modding tools for PC players.  They have yet to give even a watered down version for consoles.  But what would you make for SR:TT?  Weapons?  Clothes?  If you made made missions, there might be a point to it.  Especially for those that feel that SR:TT isn't 'gansta' enough.  There isn't enough base stuff to make more stuff.  (I may be wrong, but that's how it seems to me.)  As far as making MODS, some are better than others.  I doubt, I for example, could make a 5th rate MOD.
