Ok i've been here since 2010, but they banned my account in Janury for speaking the truth. Saints Row 1 was a nearly perfect game, a somewhat serious story, yet some sillyniss to make it fun. One of my top 10. Then there was Saints Row 2. They practiacally FORCED the sillyness on you(you have to fight a mexican wrestler gang, and brutes come when you fight long enough), and it was watered down for some bullshit DLC THAT WAS ON THE DISC, and the DLC missions were ****.  The first two games did DLC RIGHT, with a **** load of clothes, and some where even free. Then you guys announced ETD. That sorta got me interested because i wanted to see if you guys ACUTALLY improved your ****. But that was cancelled for the next game. **** this series now. Why DON'T you guys listen to your old fans? Why the **** you gotta cater to the kids that want purple dildos, and super powers? It's not ****ing funny at all, its like a ****ing Date Movie type of parody trying too hard. If you wanted to be funny, why not do satire? THAT'S why all the ****ing REAL fans left to the other site, you guys are a ****ing joke now. **** Volition, **** THQ, and **** all the new **** that wanted super powers, THIS ISN'T ****ING SPIDER MAN, IT IS A CRIME BASED GAME!!!

Id have to agree. Even though you are yellin and stuff, everything you say is true...

This is legit how a series falls down, I've seen it before, and if SR4 doesnt shape up, I'll see it again. If its just gonna be pushed a bunch of little things like oohh a new car, oooh a new gun, ooohh 2x the sex jokes, thats not gonna improve the series, and people are gonna get bored and not buy it. Making 2x something that isnt good doesnt make it any better

I really HATE to be saying that. Cause Saints Row 2 was one of the best games, that people really liked, and I loved it

And its not even like they have to do a total revamping of everything. They have the controls down, the physics down, the map and character constructors, most of technical stuff is done and all of that stuff good (besides the blurr and laggyness at times, but i can deal), they just need to change the story/humor/characters and add competative multiplayer back and get rid of the stereotypical characters (cause that gets annoying), and honestly it will be good. Add a beautiful location and it will be great.

You can have all the new guns, cars, etc., that stuff is petty compared to the storyline/atmosphere, which greatly lacked in Saints Row 3. SR3 just felt like it was written with a formula, and they think they can make it better by following the formula of what they think people will like, and it just... i dont need to say any more

Included in, it will be a section of the next Saints Row game. This means a bigger and more awesome sequel, and extra polish on the ETD stuff. That's about all we are saying at this time.

I hate that idea... been checking in periodically for DLC (mainly the dual choice one) only to find out about this crap... I am beyond angry and disappointed! I was looking forward to it's release prior to a SR4... now it sounds like SR4 will be another rush job.

I guess the best way to get volition's attention is with my wallet...

Awesome news as far as I am concerned! Why? Well, because I honestly believe that, given the crap, anemic, overpriced DLC that Enter the Dominatrix would have been a highly over-priced expansion at $30.00. So, rolling it into a BRAND NEW GAME next year and for a mere additional $20.00 you get the "expansion" plus the full SR4, sounds like music to my ears! I am SO HAPPY to hear this.
