Dark Knight is NOT a Batman movie. Its just too serious, watch old Batmans even those black-white ones. Nolan need to stay away from Super Heroes movies.

OP, great video! Too bad there aren't any "superhero" masks in SR2, it would have made it perfect!
As for the Dark Knight, the comics and the graphic novels are pretty bleak, Frank Miller's rendition comes to mind, also the whole "Knightfall" storyline where the Bane character was introduced was also pretty serious, so Nolan's movie trilogy is right on the money.
Still, I'd have to say the 1989 Batman move was still one of the best Batman movies made, just the right blend of comic and dark.
